VICE PRESIDENT POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developing marketing materials, investor communications, internal research reports
  • Reviewing teasers, executing different roles in the sourcing process
  • Developing and evaluating financial models, valuations and relevant market research
  • Researching industry trends and determining acquisition targets
  • Assisting in due diligence process on potential investments
  • Assisting with the execution of deals

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 5-7 years of experience
    • 1-3 plus years of experience in investment banking or management consulting and
    • 1-3 plus years of experience in a top tier private equity firm, family office or corporate strategy office
  • Proven track record in finance, deal structuring and transaction processes

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Liberal Arts degree from top 10 school coupled with strong experience in finance and accounting
  • An undergraduate degree with impeccable academic results from a top 20 school with a degree in finance, accounting engineering, economics or related field
  • MBA from top 10 school
  • CFA is considered beneficial

  • Ability to lead the firm’s execution of strategy in accordance with its values
  • Ability to serve as an ambassador and thought leader on behalf of the firm
  • Ability to source, structure, negotiating, close and monitor investments
  • Ability to manage all third party professional service providers
  • Leading the creation of financial models, investor presentations, and investment committee materials
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail coupled, strong work ethic, and commitment to teaching more junior members the same
  • Must be mature, enjoy working in ambiguity, and taking on tasks he/she or the firm has never done before
  • Must be comfortable identifying, raising and tackling issues
  • Ability ingest, digest, synthesize information and articulate the synthesis and insights
